Quarantine has given us all time to think about what truly matters. For me, it’s our covenant with the land in which we live.

Our national parks with their iconic forests, rivers, deserts, canyons, mountains and vistas are our most valuable resource. And today, those wilderness areas are under attack. Climate change, drilling, fracking and mining threaten their existence on a daily basis.

Driven by a sense of urgency and equipped with the most technologically advanced cameras Sony has ever produced, I set out to shoot all 62 national parks. My goal was to capture heart stopping images of a vanishing America and to achieve the level of precision and artistry that Ansel Adams predicted would be possible using digital photography.

The way I see it, the moment we’re collectively living through presents us with an unprecedented opportunity to initiate a virtual reset for all Americans. To reclaim our national birthright and underscore our moral purpose.

And most importantly, to see the beauty of America with fresh eyes.
