FACES OF INDIA

India is a swirling mosaic of sights, sounds, and heavily saturated colors. A kaleidoscope of humanity that extends from the snow-covered Himalayas in the north to tropical rain forests in the south. In many respects, it stands apart from the rest of Asia as a distinct geographical entity with a culture whose roots reach back thousands of years.

India is a place where tradition whispers and beauty seduces. During my time on the subcontinent, I was overwhelmed by the sheer diversity I was exposed to. I found myself immersed in a sea of humanity. Diversity of language. Of religion. Of caste. A country with one foot squarely in the past and one reaching toward for the future. From Mumbai to Jaipur. Agra to Goa. Kerala to Varanasi. No one can visit India and return unchanged.
