The still life, yes I remember these glasses. I was going to Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and they had an assignment to photograph glass. I spent about 10 hours making this image. By the time I was finished with it, I knew one thing for sure, I didn’t want to be a still life photographer. It was too much time indoors, in a studio. I felt the pull to the outdoors even stronger than usual after this project. I was really happy the way it ended up, never the less, it was really a lot of tedious work. It represents the beginning and end of my career as a still-life photographer.
